What We Believe

Our foundation is based upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative and infallible Word of God.

We believe there is only One God who created the whole universe and all that is in it, including humanity. He reveals Himself in His Word as Father (as to His relationship with His creation, the birth of Jesus Christ and the adoption of all who might believe in His atoning work). He has also revealed Himself as the Son through the incarnation for our salvation. The revelation of His nature as the indwelling Spirit in every born-again believer gives the power to overcome the flesh, sin, the devil and worldliness in daily living, which paves the way for us to live a life holy and acceptable to Him.

We believe that repentance of sins, water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, and receiving the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues (which are all acts of faith) is God’s plan of salvation for mankind. Through these three acts of faith, we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Last but not least, we believe in the manifestation of the gifts of God’s Spirit. God will always make His people a formidable force to confront and defeat all evil forces, whether spiritual or physical. These gifts of the Spirit are given to make the Church victorious in all areas of life.
